France: Police station in Parisian suburbs attacked by fireworks

A police station in the Parisian suburbs of Champigny-sur-Marne was attacked late on Saturday night by fireworks late on Saturday night.

Fireworks hitting the station could be seen, along with vehicles driving nearby.

Several vehicles sustained damage to windows and windscreens.

No casualties were reported.

The police station was also targeted in April, in what local media is referring to as an unrelated incident.

Two police officers in plain clothes were pulled from their vehicle and shot with their own guns on Wednesday. One officer remains in critical condition.
